As i wrote late last week, i will be picking up my 2009 Mk2 C4S in about a weeks time. Living in NC with an heavy right foot, i'd better get some protection...

Dealer quoted me $2600 for the K40 installed; All reviews i am reading is that the 9500CI is a better unit...

Couple Questions:
1. Does anyone have either one installed?
2. Can you share pictures of the installation?
3. Anybody have good installation tips and ideally an installer in NC?

Do a search....I believe someone here had a similar question with respect to which unit was a better choice...I'm leaning towards the Escort myself. Its around 1600.00 installed....

Wow.... thats pretty high on the install. It's really pretty straight forward and you could tackle the job in a day if you're handy. The units sell for about 600 - 700 on eBay, just a heads up. If you don't feel like doing it yourself I'd shop around a little.

 

Not cheap...that's for sure. I have been looking around for alternate installers, haven't found one as of yet. Don't think I want to venture into the unknown and try the DYI...
