Bypass Pipes on a Cab
Bypass Pipes on a Cab
I really love the raw sound of the bypass pipes. Do you think it will be too much for a cab though, I will drive with the top down 85% of the time. My commute to work is only 5 miles. Will I really lose noticeable power? If so, anyway to fix that loss?
I used the seach feature and found this explanation regarding a cab noise level .

I felt Fabspeed gave a great answer .
I decided to listen to their system an try an imagine it on a cab .

Sounds great to me, was reading though that a lot of people could not stand the pipes after one week. That is my biggest concern, a lot of members recommend the AH system over AWE and Fabspeed.
. I don't know anything about the AH but I do like both Fabspeed and AWE exhaust systems .I sold the car after 5 months for a Turbo and the rest you can see . Shoot me a PM with yor e mail and I;ll send you aclip of my current race exhaust on my 997tt.I don't have youtube but I can e mail it if you wish to hear it.

You will find that the car doesn't pull as hard from a stop. You will also notice the car handles better due to the loss of weight from the rear. I think there is a small gain in hp on the top end. I think you'll grow tired of the noise with the top down very quickly.
