I love the yellow ring around your wheel. I have a set of lobsters that I want powder coated with the a red ring. Is that something any paintshop can do or did you have to go to a wheel specialist?

 

Your Black lobsters with colored lip looks good, any close up photos of the rims?

I choose to have my Carrera Sport Powder Coated in flat black with yellow lip to match my PCCB!

 

Just installed lowering springs and LEDs!

Just moved out of my RS for a C2S (compromise with the wife) and here she is:

 

Damn that looks good!!! I was at Boardwalk last week, wish I could have seen this one in person. Love the look with the Sport Classic wheels and black Porsche banner along the side...one of the best 'retro' 997s I've seen, if not the best. Maybe not an RS, but can't complain as a 'compromise'.

Thanks, my rims came painted black from the factory to match the paint and I added yellow pinstripe (decal/tape) to match PCCB. Since you are gonna get it powdercoated, shop should be able to do red pintstripe or paint the lip in any color. They might charge you little extra to do that. With decal/pinstrip I have a option to take it off and only waste $20

just sold my 996 and bought a 997 C4S cab, drove it 1000 miles home and had a blast.

 

Trying to get the OEM Sport Classic ducktail from Porsche as the make the front bumper/spoiler available but no luck so far on the decklid...but you saw were this build is going!!!
