The Official 6SpeedOnline 997 Owners Picture Thread!
Congrats. Great color combo, especially the terracotta/black interior! Very rare. Enjoy.
Welcome and congrats. It looks to be a stunning example, that's a great way to start your 4th weekend.
exhaust is probably the most subjective topic you will run into on the boards, so it's hard to apply 'better' or 'best' to an exhaust. what one person loves, another will not be impressed by or even dislike it. there are several good manufacturers of exhaust and i have been through 4 systems myself. Tubi is held in high regard and yet i still find it a bit too quiet - even with 200 cell cats. i would be very interested in hearing an Innotech system, but i don't know anyone locally running it.
Long island folk?
Hi Everyone!
My first real post. I'm getting the new ride detailed and serviced at the moment but here are a few shots since I picked her up a few weeks ago. I'll post more pics of my Atlas Grey / Cocoa C2 coupe once it's all cleaned up. Her current name is Cersei (yes, GoT reference) in my profile but your thoughts on new names are welcome!
It complements the 955 Jarama Beige Cayenne (V6) well...the V6 in the Cayenne is severely lacking in power but it's been a great car and is comfortable.
Changes / Mods to Date to the 997
- Rear 'Carrera' emblem swapped for 'P O R S C H E' lettering
- 'stickynomore' temperature/fan speed button(s) replacement and also the PCM **** replacement performed at A-E 33 (Al and Ed's Marina Del Rey)
- Altec Show-N-Go motorized license plate frame (this weekend)
- kistudios black gloss vinyl headlight surround (this weekend)
- Grey sidemarkers
Future Mods
- Tints: Very light grey (60-70%)
- Wheels: OEM sport design, HRE P41 / P43 or any other setup that looks very clean!
- Lighting: Depo LED rear tail lights and LED DRL
- Other: the flat tire repair kit, battery charger, European road hazard triangle, fire extinguisher
Thanks to everyone for the ideas and people like SunCoast, ECS, Al & Ed's Marina Del Rey who've made it easy.
- K
