I attempted this Friday and was able to remove all the circled green parts, but was not able to get the strut out because I could not make the wheel carrier to swing as you did in your picture. Did you unbolt and separated the "coffin link" (the ball joint inside the diamond in the picture below) from wheel carrier or did you just pushed down on it and swing to be able to slide the strut out? This is my first time attempting this, but I am very mechanically inclined, have the needed tool assortment, and have the will. I just hate paying 1000 bucks to indy shop to do something I enjoy and think I can do in a day - besides I like to be thorough and makes sure all torques are to spec and all. Any advice is much appreciated guys, and if there is some one in the 405 that would like

Did you put spring compressors before trying to get the strut out? I know i had to

 

I didn't use a spring compressor. If you loosen the nut/bolt a few turns (top right corner of red square box in your picture) of lower dog bone, it will allow you to swing hub carrier down further to remove the strut assembly.
