follow up question for 3.6L engines

Does the 3.6L 997.1 engine (Manual Trans) have a vacuum hose/solenoid on the back of the airbox, or is there only the plenum connection and the MAF connection?

What's the trick to unclipping the MAF sensor without damaging the attachment?

Thanks in advance.

I'm trying this today. I'll let you know how it goes. How long did you let your filter dry before re oiling it? Thanks.

Very Good Instructions

Got your post book marked for the past few weeks now... just waiting for weather to warm up a bit. Well, today was the day... pull up your post, dove in and changed the air filter for the first time. Very good instructions and pix! Did the job in about an hour! Thanks much!!!

997.1 Carrera non S has no vacuum hose connected

so even easier to remove airbox. Whole process should take less than 10 minutes. Thanks a lot to the OP.
