Just a counterpoint. My 997S Cab (with GT3 lip) is a daily driver. Though I respect the notion that higher-end coilovers are likely superior, I really like the Damptronic upgrade. Vast improvement over the stock shocks, I can lower the car to an acceptable height (in fact, I may want to raise it a bit now that I have the GT3 lip), and the selectable performance level, as a DD, is a boon. Even here in the Bay Area, where the roads are often in good shape, I would not want to drive the car in PASM sport mode all the time.
