How to change air filter

I am no mechanic, but can do a few things here and there. I have a new air filter and don't want to start yanking on the airbox and break something. Does anyone have instructions on how to open the airbox. Sorry for such a stupid request.

You'll have to remove the airbox completely from the car. It's pretty simple:

Loosen the hose clamp attaching the airbox to the intake plenum.

Reach behind the airbox and disconnect 1) the MAF connector and 2) the vacuum solonoid wire

Gently pull the entire airbox and snorkel out of the car

When you take the airbox out, you will notice two thick rubber bushings (for lack of a better word) either in the bottom of the engine bay or still attached to the bottom of the box. Just make sure you keep an eye on those as they tend to fall out

Flip airbox upside down, and remove 8 (I think) torx screws to remove the bottom of the box.

Once open, you'll see the filter and will be able to swap it out

Reverse the steps to put everything back together

If all else fails, take a look at pages 2 and 3 of the instructions for the EVOMS intake:

Thanks for the help. Took me about 45 minutes to do. I didn't want to break anything so wanted to make sure I was doing the right thing before pulling.
