who all out there has cab's on springs?

I have a 2009 C4S cab with Techart springs. Felt slightly stiffer first day, now feels perfectly like-stock. Very comfortable. PASM still works perfectly. Very happy with them.

 

Where did you buy the techart springs? Will replacing only the springs, destroy the shocks eventually?

i found a 05 cab, 22k miles, full leather+power seats, 6CD, sports chrono, mint mint mint local... @ 45+++ but i keep asking myself "do i want a cab" ... stacy's car looks sick, but then again its black and the car i found is silver and i think silver always looks a little more bland.

really want a white coupe but i cant find any!

 

Bought them from CEC. I have never had a problem with the shocks by replacing springs, although certain springs are not as compatible with factory shocks as other springs are. H&R seems to be overly stiff for certain cars. Techart in my experience is the best for Porsches.

 

I have PASM, and they Eibach Pro-Springs bought them and the HRE's from Shoreline in HB..Love them .There's a few better pic in my garage folder

 

Here is a picture with HR springs. I am using bilstein damptronic coilover now. I want it to sit lower.

techart springs are made by eibach. just put some on my c4s, very happy with them. I have spoken directly to someone who had techart and switched them out for h&r. The story was that h&r went lower but he said it was beating up his car, very stiff, needed to get alignments all the time...if he had to do it again, he would have stuck with the techarts, fwiw.

 

Yes it pulls harder, I did lose a bit of low end torque.. I dont have the cronos option or sport button so the softronic is set to apply the sport mode mappings all the time. So far I'm happy..

 

OC Pcar how many inch is your car lower ,look like is not as low as some of the other car .I'm getting my 09 C4S cab done next week with Tech Art spring ,just wondering if that how my car will look .

I will show you 2 pictures. One with H & R springs and one will bilstein coil over. I think you should get the coil over if you want your car to sit lowered.
