Nice work.
What did you use the Makita for- I don't see a compound or polish on your list.

Looks like he used Swiss Vax cleaner fluid with the rotary.

Why would you use a rotary to apply a very light product? My experience tells me that a rotary is really best used for heavy compounding. It'd be concerned that you're creating holograms with using a rotary for a finishing product.

no worries we have been doing it a long time and with the proper pads and proper speed there are no issues.

speed was 600 rpm on a wax/glaze uber black pad. no pressure was applied on the pad while applying the product, you basically let the weight of the machine clean it up.

LMK if you have any other questions or concerns. This is how we have done tons of cars and no issues yet.

How often do you recommend detailing a car? I have an '08 C4S that is 11 months old. It is always garaged in an underground garage when not driven and I did not drive it in the winter. I had the interior and exterior treated with products recommended by the dealer (both products have separate warranties) and I hand wash the car in a self-serve power wash.

I would probably do a detail like this one once or twice a year.

I would wash weekly /bi weekly and wax every 1-3 months depending on when the car is driven etc.

LMK if that helps.
