The HRE design on the P40/P43 takes the spoke all the way to the rim giving the wheel a much larger visual circumference than standard wheels that take the center to a flat outer rim. For this reason, IMHO, the 20" P40/P43 appears oversized on the 997. The 19" wheel is visually better proportioned. Just one opinion.

I agree with the 20s decrease the performance part, I myself am going for 19s. About the "meat", I think it really goes with the 997's design. The multi spoked wheels hav e always looked good on Pcars... I think because the 911's design and lines are so curvy, a spoked wheel compliments those lines, make it more aggressive... I think that it looks really tough and mean...
