Does anybody here no what "Emergency Tranmission Run" on 09 PDK mean .I have a new 09 C4S Cab with only 800 miles on it and this message pop up 5 times already .Each times the car is in gear and it doesn't move ,I have to shut off the motor and started again to get the tranny to work .Just got my car lower at CEC today and they to me the same thing happen to them when they try to put it in gear .

 

It looks like that a trip to the dealer was called for 5 "Emergency Transmission Run" events ago. You may have a problem that needs special attention or it may be cleared up by the PDK software reflash PAG issued and the US dealers say does not exist... but it does.

+1, you should have the dealer look at it.

 

Take that lemon back to the dealer genius! Maybe you shouldn't have tried Launch Control with only 500 miles on the car!

 

BTW, is the there a big dent in your driver's quarter panel?? That sucks!!!

I just look at the manual today and it said not to drive the car have it tow to the dealer

Posted a thread in the Cayman section. I got the same message after driving a new Cayman S PDK for a little over 3 weeks. I had it flatbedded immediately to the dealer. Porsche is replacing the entire PDK unit on the car.

 

That is really good service, hope the replacement unit is new version without any problems. Good luck.
