Was driving up to gym yesterday, just cruising along and enjoying the nice SoCal evening. I see in my rearview a BMW cutting in / out of cars and catching up to me quickly. We're coming up to a red light ahead and the BMW (shiny new black M5) pulls up along side me in the shoulder lane- the driver has his window down is waving my attention, and I'm thinking "oh what's this about".. Mind you I am always a bit concerned that I inadvertently cut someone off or whatever due to my *ahem* agressive driving style. meh - whatever..

So I roll down the window and he's spouting off about "wow that is the most beautiful 911 I've ever seen, the exhaust sounds amazing, what did you do to it for mods etc etc". So I gave him the quick 1 min rundown of mods while waiting at the red light and he's jotting this stuff down on a notepad..LOL. Friendly guy, and an obvious car enthusiast- His M5 was nicely done up with a few tastful mods here and there. Who knows.. maybe he'll be selling that M5 soon for a 997

Anyways just thought I would share- It is always nice to have your ride complimented by another enthusiast with good taste. The thing is though, since adding the AfterHours exhaust, lowering and TA wheels, this is becoming a somewhat regular occurrance.. crazy.

Cattman - LOL yeah I find it amusing because I consider my pcar average compared to some others on this forum.
Jetpilot- Nope, too much traffic for play time.
