Got my dancing shoes on!
Love the black on black. I went with a red pinstripe and really like the balance.
Looks badass! I am happy w/ the R888s but I don't drive them daily. Just auto-x/lapping. It's nice to be able to drive to the venue and not be changing wheels.
They are definitely noisy.

I've used the R888s on the track in the rain and found them to be pretty good. If you hit some standing water, however....
Apparently, there's a national back-order on R888s in 19in right now.

Jay,
Great car you've got. Nice and mean looking!!!
Can I ask how low you dropped it? 10, 15, 20mm?

Nice wheels
I just got back from two track days at PRI (Seattle) and saw many people on the R888.
I am running the Yokohama 048's (very similar tread pattern) and find the grip to be night and day to the PS2's.

I agree with this post, as well as MDrums' other post about the tires. I run them and LOVE them. They are substantially nicer than the MPSC tires. They're louder, yes. Both the R888 and MPSC get oily, but at different times. In my opinion (having gone through many sets of each) the R888s are oily when new and GORGEOUS when "ready", whereas the MPSC get oily when 50-60% used and really get unbearable when they get too hot/highly pressurized. Also, MDrums is totally right on the starting/hot pressures. Stay with 27 cold all around and play with it throughout the weekend. DO NOT go to the track without a good tire gauge! Also, the R888s really like nitro.

I'm recovering from a complete reconstructive surgery on my right shoulder. I drove it on the street a bit today and it's still killing me. So I don't really know what pressures I'm running. Sorry not to be able to help. (The car's not here where I am or I'd check for you.)
