997.2 C4S Body Modifications

Despite how much I love the looks of the C4S, I think it could use a little tweak here and there. Two things I really like are the top grille in the front on the GT3 and a nice low profile spoiler wing in the back (post #7 in this thread: https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...e-997-2-a.html ). Do the added vents in the GT3 or any other aftermarket bumper actually provide additional cooling (brakes, radiators, etc)? As for the rear spoiler, it looks to be correctly positioned when the spoiler is in the down position, what happens when it pops up at high speeds? Are the aerodynamics still correct?

Adding the GT3 front bumper spoiler may not be functional, I think the inner guts may prevent a serious flow.

To install that fixed wing spoiler, they have to remove all of the guts from your automatic spoiler. Then the wing will cleanly bolt into place using factory mounting points. A dealer will have to program the car, and tell the car that the spoiler was removed.

P.S. Make sure you don't get rid of that pretty "4S" reflector!

Is there any way to vent to properly vent front or rear brakes on a C4S or do you only get that luxury with a GT3? Also, do they make any spoiler wings (perhaps smaller ones) that are compatible with the auto spoiler?

The GT3 Brake duct spoilers are a cheap and easy way to improve air flow to the front rotors. They simply clip-on, no modifications are necessary. There is another version available for more flow, but fitment requires modification.

I don't think you need to improve airflow to the rear, from what I've read there is no benefit.

I haven't seen any smaller wings yet that are compatible with the auto spoiler. Most would require removing the auto spoiler, or removing the entire decklid.
