problem with TA side skirts!!

Side skirts don't fit because of small factory mud guards in front of rear wheels. Do I need to remove the mud guards in order to put TA side skirts? I believe I have to. Anyone knows how to remove them?
Please help me!!

If it is anything like the 996 and 986 cars there should be about 3 screws/bolts that it on. That part of the flap that bolts to the car was triangle shaped with one bolt up front and two in the back (1 is towards the center of the car). Hope this helps some, but yes they do have to come off.
