New guy decision: Which one?

Thanks to all for input on my last post. I am now getting closer, kinda, to a decision. Having a hard time pulling the trigger since I want what I want at the price I want (not asking too much). OK, so here it goes.

I really love Atlas Grey Metallic. Have seen it in person and it looks great. Does some interesting morphing from dark grey/charcoal, to deep blue depending on the light; its different. I also like white and black. Black color has been a topic discussed on this forum - looks great when clean, however, be prepared to work hard at keeping it that way - not a problem for me since detailing a car is kind of like therapy for me - some like gardening and tinkering, I like working at getting a car looking great!

Must haves are 6-sp, full leather, chrono, Bose; then sport shifter, adaptive seats,

Now, on to the final contestants!

First up a 2007 C2S (ok, gotta get my post name plug in there) in....you guessed it....Atlas Grey Metallic. A CPO car with an asking price of $68,888. I'm thinking more like $60,000. What do you say?

Details
* 14,000 miles
* Black Full Leather Interior
* P15 - Power Seat Package
* 666 - Module for Telephone PCM
* XCZ - Sport Shifter
* XLF - Sport Exhaust System
* 692 - Remote CD Changer (6 Disc)
* 342 - Heated Front Seats
* 670 - Navigation for PCM
* 640 - Sport Chrono Package Plus
* 405 - 19" Carrera Classic Wheel
* 680 - Bose High End Sound Package

Second up is 2007 C2S in Black; not CPO. This one I researched and saw it was sold in the past year for ~$88,000 (well that's what it was listed for). This car has several nice 'expensive' mods. Being sold by Formula 1 Sports Cars in Miami. Any feedback on that dealer is also appreciated. I estimate the retail was in the $116,000 range when new (actually $103 for car + for mods; mods are a recent add and not part of the original bill - obviously, duh? I'm learning....... I'm thinking of $74,000 as a reasonable offer.

Comment: Jeez C2S you're all over the board. Sixty grand for one car and seventy-four for the other? You smokin'?

Details
* Aero Kit
* Black Full Leather Interior
* Illuminated Stainless Steel Door Entry Guards
* Alluminum Driver's Side Foot Rest
* Adaptive Sport Seats
* 670-Navigation for PCM
* 342-Heated Front Seats
* 640-Sport Chrono Plus
* 680-Bose High End Sound
* 267-Self Dimming Mirrors
* M6A-Black Mats
* Alluminum Look Gear Lever
* Porsche Crest in Headrest
* Wheel Caps with Colored Crest
* Motorsport Suspension
* TUBI Exhaust
* 20" Wheels -
realize potential noise and handling issues w/20" not to mention replace $$

So, that's my story and I'm sticking to it. Looking for some straight talk and advice so I don't make a stupid mistake. I know, they're not stupid mistakes, and that I should go with what I want, BUT.........

Thanks Guys!

Before you buy any car there are two things it must pass (beyond price) .

1) Do a DME scan to detect engine over rev history This thread will help explain. https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...-over-rev.html

2) Inspect paint and body work .

That first car, the Atlas Gray w/full leather, sounds like the perfect build and $60K sounds pretty reasonable- probably can't get it for much less-

I like your options priorities. Don't forget though that you can always add PSE and SSK later, like I did. The SSK (OEM) only costs about $305 and you can install yourself. Used PSE's can be found for less than $1200, and you can also install yourself if mechanically inclined. Don't think you can go much wrong with either of the 2 you mentioned, although a CPO has to be worth something to you since an 07 car only has 2 yrs left on factory warranty. Re the 20" wheels, you can always sell those and purchase 19" if you don't like the ride on the 20" wheels. There are lots of nice HRE's and Champions etc. out there for around $3000 (used).

Good luck.
