I beleive that the more contacts you have in your iphone the more the system is going to play up with the PCM 3. This is just a theory as I only have approx 100 and my phone works fine and I have friends with 500+ conacts and they have problems with it disconnecting and just playing up. We have even swapped cars (both Panamera 4S) and we both experience the same problems with each others cars?
Does anyone else have this problem?

 

Connected with bluetooth to my iPhone 3G with 2100+ contacts and PCM 3 on 997.2 2009 it is fine. Only rare issue is twice the PCM couldn't find the 3G but if it does all is fine.

Me? Yes, four email accounts - works great.

 

A $20 prepaid cellphone works with Porsche's Bluetooth. I'd be shocked if an iPhone wouldn't.

You do need to set your phone to be 'discoverable' for the PCM to find it. Once you have your phone paired with the PCM you can turn off the 'discoverability' again.
