Hi folks,
I've signed up for some DE's and want to invest in my first helmet. I know there are many online shops but understanding that fit is very important, I would like to find a nearby shop with a decent selection to try on. Any recommendations for shops in or near Philadelphia, PA? According to Mapquest, Stable Energies in NJ is a 2.5 hr drive for me. (I wanted to post this in the track forum but don't have enough posts or access.)

I think you could get a very nice helmet at the triumph dealer on main street manyunk or any other motor cycle dealership for that matter. Tell them what you need it for.

 

If you intend to do this on a regular basis, you should look for a helmet with an "SA" rating. A helmet with this "SA" rating was designed for the track, and racing. Motorcycle helmets are not.
