Hi,
I have a 09 997S. I just noticed that when I close the driver's door, after the window has completely closed is when it emits a noise. Sounds like the window motor it's still trying to close the window. After further testing, when I press the door lock button, same noise. The noise only sounds in the fully closed position. If I drop the window a little, I can not replicate the noise. My passenger window is fine.

The only time I hear the noise is when the engine is off and the window is going to the fully closed position. I can also replicate the noise by pulling the door handle until the window retracts to the open positon and releasing the handle.

Thanks for Gundo's excellent instructions on door panel removal, I was able to verify that the noise is not something loose. I did not go behind the black metal plate.

I'm just reluctant to bring the car to the dealer to have my door taken apart. Past experiences indicate that it will never be the same.

Any ideas or does anyone have the same noise?
