Questions on Porche OEM 18 wheels

I was curious if any one could answer some questions for me on the Porsche OEM 18" wheels.

- What is the largest front/rear tire combo I can put on my 2005 997 C2 narrow body without any body modifications

- Anyone ever use these for track wheels? I'm assuming they're a bit heavy, but was curious.

- I drove the exact same car with 19" Sport Design and the 18" I have on my car. I actually like the drive/performance better, other than I can let my rear go when accelerating hard into a corner, but I figure stickier/wide tires will change this, since the other car had Pirelli Rosso 295's in the rear vs. my Bridgestone RE50A 265's. Any one have thoughts on the drive/performance difference between these OEM wheels?

Thanks in advance for the replies and I've attached a pic so know one confuses the wheels I'm referring to below.

These wheels are limited to the tire size due to it's narrow widths (8 and 10).

I did run a 295 on the rear without trouble, but find a 295/35/18 is a challenge. I run 315/30/18 on my 18 x 11 track wheels.

Here are the widest wheels and tires currently available as a factory option:

19-inch Carrera Sport Wheels (Carrera or Carrera S, spacers required to fit a C4)
8.5 x 19" 55 mm offset, 235/35 19
11.5 x 19" 67 mm offset, 305/30 19
