Engine Compartment Heat 997.1

Does anyone have a position on parking, after driving in +100 deg F, with the spoiler raised to keep the engine compartment fan from cycling. Porsche recommends running the engine for 2 minutes at a high idle. Unless you turn off the AC more heat load is created. My garage does not have AC. I i ntend on adding the 3rd radiator and have followed Verdes' adventure is there any input on installing auxillary fan with the 3rd radiatior?

Overkill. Just shut it off and go about your day. If the engine compartment reaches around 180F, the fan will come on and cool it down.
