Yeah nice, but its a real shame Tirerack is the us dealer of OZ. I ordered a set. 3 out of 4 came in damaged & excessive wheel weights. Then I had all of that grief and aggravation sending them back.

the wheels are shipped very poorly, just a thin piece of carboard covering the face and back with the packing straps. When you spend over 4k for wheels and tires you want them in a box. Oh well. Lesson learned for the 2nd time, not to do biz with tire rack.

Another time I ordered a set of Pirelli Corsas which are directional, they sent 2 left rears, didn't realize till I was getting them put on. Took the new tire and my wheel off to a recommended installer on their site and got a scratch in my lamborghini wheel. I had repaired out of pocket. Beware of tirerack....

Interesting - I ordered from tirerack my OZ boticellis and they arrived double-boxed, each rim in individual box plus additional wrapping. no issues at all.
I guess ultraleggeras come via different channels now.

Unfortunately accidents do happen and it's aggravating when they do. We do our best to take care of this product as it's being packaged and shipped. It's unfortunate when people, even those that work for us, don't take it easy with other people's stuff. If you guys saw the volume we ship out you would be amazed it does not happen more often. BUT, that doesn't make it OK it happened to you.

In fairness, maybe you should let everyone know how fast you had replacements at your door, packaging material to send the damaged ones back, and then UPS there to pick them up at our cost. It isn't like you were left hanging with the damage.

YES, my replacement champion wheels came in really fast from shark werks. Those OZs were back ordered.

I dropped those OZ wheels off at the FED EX office.I didn't want your garbage in my garage. In addition I'm an American Express customer, I wouldn't of been hanging out on anything because I would of challenged it.

It really says something when your guys damaged the wheels and don't know how to balance. You want to sell wheels for high end sports cars get your act together. You couldn't even handle my corsa system tire order. Seems tirerack got too big for it's britches and can't handle customer service.

no, i would never allow somebody else to do that without my personal supervision.

plus, in all fairness, tirerack is tires wallmart, not a tires boutique. I had my issues with Damon which we resolved but still, price wise tirerack is still quite good compared to other places if you do know precisely what is it you want to get.

I would allow that is somebody else took out your rims from original italian packaging it may not arrive to you as new. I got my wheels mounted and balanced in my local shop, it costed $200 more on top of tirerack price but it is not a big deal to me when you get 4 new rims and 4 new PS2 tires. But I saw entire process myself and I know my wheels are perfectly balanced with no issues at all.

How was I supposed to know they're a bunch of hacks? Lesson learned wont happen again.

Took my rubber and Champions to my Porsche dealer for mounting and balancing.

it`s quite childish IMHO, by default whole world out there is a bunch of hacks.
how can you be sure if your rims are balanced properly if you did not see it yourself? I would never ordered anything pre-mounted, by a bunch of reasons, having them balanced is not even on top of anything there, there are more important issues. how do you know if those are not take-offs? any product what does not arrive brand new may not be brand new and it does not matter who sells. but, still, i probably have too much nyc experience, but as you are in jersey, you should be sufficiently street smart yourself, I guess.
