As you say, it's really no big deal. I scrape mine from time to time and it's a cheap and easy replacement. I almost think of it as disposable.

Oh, and I would think that car is a pretty good deal at that price for a C4S. I thought the history was a bit bizarre - it as been in the mid west or Florida or something before coming to CT.
