CPO'd 997 C4 or C4S, any tips?

I am considering a CPO'd 997, a C4 and a C4S, but given my budget a C4S might be out of the question.

Are there any things I should look out for? Is there much material difference in an 06, 07 or 08? Any issues that were solved in later years?

For me I prefer a newer car with less miles, over many expensive options. I value a car that looks as brand new as possible, both on the inside and outside, so warn out leather, nicks and dents are big negatives, which has me thinking a newer model is probably up my ally. Question is how realistic is it to get something like that for my budget (55k), and how many miles should I expect to have on this kind of car?

Going to be pretty tough. Ran a check through autotrader nationwide and NO C4S came up under $60k with no limit on miles. Focused on just a C4 and came up with 7 cars and only two of them at a Porsche dealership. However, none are CPO. I guess you could try to get one of the cars being sold by the dealership to CPO them, but they might have to many miles (20k and 30k). Going to be tough to find what you want at that price. If you find a car, it'll have pretty high miles and/or be a little to worn for what you want.

but given my budget a C4S might be out of the question.
I got one close enough in your range . I have not seen it but the guy who took it in on trade said this car looked great . They haven't even posted pics yet. It's probably impeccable. The sales persons name is Matt . Good luck. http://www.thecollection.com/pre/veh...?id=1198&F_b=2

Why not a C2S? The extra power of the 3.8l is a lot nicer to have, and you'll save a bit not being Awd (both weight and money)
