Is there a limit to repainting the rims?

I've had my wheels powercoated the first time, but now with every day use, it gets scratched or dinged from curbing etc. Before the season changes, I would like to do a detail job on every part of the body etc. before it gets in the garage.

Is there a limit to number of times to repainting the rims? Would there be any damage to the structure/ integrity of the stock rims, because of powercoating two or more times and fixing the damages? Or would it be wise to wait and get more damages (it happens) then have it fixed all over again then do a repaint on them?

I would paint them instead of powder coating, but I wouldn't imagine that there is a problem with them coated multiple times.

Dude, stay away from the curbs!

Actually, I do not think there would be an issue with multipul coats of paint. Just be sure they do not paint the rim wear the tire bead seals and watch the build up of paint where the lug nuts meet the rim.

Powder coating over and over due to the heat...not totally sure might have some issues with the strength of the casting.

I would call Wheel Enhancemnet out in LA and ask them. They are good guys and will give good advice on the phone.
