PSM and PASM Failure after checking fuses?
PSM and PASM Failure after checking fuses?
I am installing a hard wire kit for my radar detector. When I took off the fuse panel I decided to check the fuses as I have an interior light that is out and I thought it might just be a fuse. So I took a minute and pulled them all one at a time, looking and re-inserting each one back as I went. I found no blown fuses.
Now when start the car it says I have a PASM and a PSM fault. I know its not the fuses, because I tried taking the fuses out that are responsible for PASM/PSM and it gave me a different fault of some type. I also checked all the fuses again and they are all seated properly and none are blown.
All I can think of is nothing is actually wrong, but the fault must be cleared by the dealer....is this so? If so, that sucks....I wouldnt have messed with pulling any fuses should I have known that.
Any other ideas?

Had the same thing after my battery was replaced under warranty.
The official procedure is to turn the wheel left and right a couple of times and then drive backwards and forwards in a straight line for a few metres.
