GREAT Dealership Experience

Everyone -

I just wanted to pass on what a great experience I had at Porsche of Tyson's Corner in Northern Virginia. Bill Blevins, my main contact, was great to work with and Dave McBrearty (sales manager, I think) teamed up to locate the exact car I was looking for.

Through the process they showed me numerous cars that fit my request, and were not discouraged at all when they weren't "just right" for me. They continued to work with me, and when we found the right car they gave me a good deal (great? perhaps not, but we all made out on this one) without me having to beat on them.

Dude, you might want to link to your other post: https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...baby-home.html
so that we don't think you are just a shill for Porsche of Tysons.

Enjoy the car!

Good call, CMOS. Thanks.

Just in case anyone wondered, I do not work for Porsche of Tyson's Corner. I have purchased two vehicles from them and am simply passing along my thoughts on the dealership and those two people in particular.

I've had pretty good experience there as well. That's were I purchased and after trying a few other dealers for service now go there exclusively. Porsche isn't quite up to the Lexus purchase/service experience, but Porsche Tyson's seems to try to go the extra mile.

Always good to hear about good dealership experiences since most people only talk about bad experiences. I recently had a good experience with New Country in Greenwich, CT...

I was going to buy a 997.2 from them and in fact got a better deal from them than other dealers but i couldnt bring myself to do it. 9 years ago i bought my first car from them, a used Audi A4. Porsche/Audi of Tysons are the same ownership. The car had significant problems within 2 months of ownership and despite the fact that they "certified" it they basically told me "buyer beware" and would not cover a dime of costs (most of these problems were not under the certified warranty) Regardless, even though the 997.2 was a lower discount I couldnt buy from a dealer that had screwed me once before. maybe paying a few K for spite isnt the best move...but I'd do it again.

having said that, it was 9 years ago so maybe different managers/salespeople today. Glad to see they have apparently changed their view on client service as they seem to have good prices and decent inventory.

Thanks guys

I am the Sales Manager at Porsche and Audi of Tyson's. We are under new management for the last year and I wanted to say how refreshing it is to hear the positive feedback. I and we make a supreme effort to do business the right way and be an anomaly in the automotive industry. I assure anyone that reads this and is looking into a new or pre-owned Porsche or Audi that they will be impressed with our professionalism and efforts. If you are looking to save time, money and aggravation please feel free to contact me directly @ dmcbrearty@penskeautomotive.com.

Once Again, thanks to Mike and all others that give us a chance to impress,

Dave

HONESTY IS ALWAYS THE BEST POLICY. Porsche being a HIGH end automotive comp. no matter what model should be held up to a higher standard esp when they advertise "there is no substitute"! i have come across Porsche dealers to the level of say Chevrolet, not to demean Chevy in any manner, but there should be a separation esp when you compare the PRICE point! just be honest with the client and let the chips fall where they may. most Porsche buyers are very informed about the product, thus regard them as such. WE CAN SEE THROUGH THE BS!

I recently bought a porsche from Bill Blevens at Tysons porsche. He's a very good/fair sales guy. I've dealt with other porsche salesman at Tysons and other local dealers. You know the drill...Bill is above all of that...highly recommend him
