I have some Carrera S tips I want to put on my carrera but the S is a bigger diameter, is there any shims I can use or any helpful tips? thanks

 

Any good shop should be able to fabricate a sleeve that will fit between the two, allowing you to fit them on appropriately.

If you can't find such a shop, even a PepBoys will sell an adapter, which will fit snug over your outlet pipes and be larger diameter on the other end, allowing you to clamp the tips tightly. The only adjustment you may need to make is to cut a bit off the larger diameter end of the adapter to ensure that the tips don't stick out too far.

Harbor Freight Tools have an expander tool to widen the exhaust pipe. I think it is about $10.

 

Yes, and also any decent muffler shop should be able to do pipe fitting, to expand the outlet pipes, although that's permanent, whereas a sleeve between the outlet pipe and S-tips is easily reversible.
