This is my new 997S and I absolutely love it. This car is a night and day difference compared to my 996 C2. With the PASM in normal mode the car drives like a caddy and when in sport mode it handles like it's on rails, just what you need for an everyday driver. The ride is extremely comfortable, quiet and solid feeling. The doors are heavy and have a nice thump when you close them. The adaptive sport seats are incredibly comfortable (I'm 5'9, 175lbs) and always keep you in place no matter how aggressive you drive. The new six speed tranny is silky smoothe and almost effortless getting into any gear. Steering response is very precise and the PCCB have enormous stopping power! The 19" wheels are surprisingly comfortable, quiet, and smoothe. Throttle response is excellent and the exhaust note is music to my ears as is the Bose high end sound package. At the touch of a button, the sports chrono package instantaneously transforms the car into an animal! Throttle response is further increased, the suspension stiffens and you're ready for Thunderhill. IMO, this is one of the geatest cars Porsche has ever produced, I highly recommend it!!
I was at the dealer and I had a ride in one. I did not want to drive it as it was raining cats and dogs and did not trust myself driving this beast!

It was an absolute blast!!! The sales guy obviously had taken some performance driving courses (just like a lot of you guys) and he drove it as if he was completely unaware that it was raining so heavily. He drove it so fast around a bend onto the highway, I was screaming inside my head getting ready for the crash that was inevitable. Needless to say we did not crash and those 295 cm wide rubber in the back were just glued to the road!

Absolutely incredible. I could not believe how safe the car felt in pouring rain!!! I absolutely loved the active suspension and the sports chrono package!

I have a somewhat active suspension in my car and on the soft setting it felt exactly like the comfort setting in the 997. Incredible car. I could not even imagine how much better a C4S will be if the 2 wheel drive model is this stable.

I gotta have one of these beasts ........................
