What was the crossover year from the 997 to the 997.2? I own a 2005 C2S and was curious when the changeover occurred. What specifically were the differences in engine and transmission performances? Thanks

I believe that MY2009 was the changeover.
You might want to do a quick search of the forum...I think that there was a really complete thread on this a few months ago!

I believe MY2009 was the first .2 year. Cars produced any time after August 2008 until late July 2009 should be a MY2009 if I'm not mistaken.

Definitely MY 2009. I had a 2008 Carrera - it was a 997.1. I traded it on my 2009 Carrera S, which is the 997.2.
