997.2 bypass

Wsup guys...Id like to do a bypass type exhaust on my car... (muffler delete) I know our 997.2s there are 3 mufflers, the center muffler and the two outer mufflers... I was wondering if you guys suggest JUST deleting the center muffler and leaving the outer mufflers or if you guys suggest deleting the 2 outer mufflers and leaving the center muffler...Im mostly going for SOUND, but performance is a plus...Would by passing all 3 mufflers be too loud? anybody have 1 OF THE SETUPS I just named on thier 997.2? Any suggestions on the bypass? any HELP IS much Apreciated...Thanks

Actually bypassing all three is way too loud IMHO... Too much drone inside as well.

Here's ours bypassed:

Alternatively you could do the full Tubi system and it sounds like this:

The green porsche runs the Sharkwerks Center muffler bypass. This system sounds great.

SO on the green porsche the stock left muffler and stock right muffler are both still in place, and the Center muffler has been deleted and replaced with a straight pipe (by pass pipe) ?? Thats all?

We did do a complete muffler bypass on the 1st day we had the car but it was WAY too loud. Some loss in low end torque too is likely with such a reduction in back pressure.... So in a nut shell way too loud inside and out. Maybe for a track-only car?

Our center section is very subtle in terms of sound.. maybe a 997.1 PSE basically. It's one that dealerships have been buying/installing etc... and hence it's conservative.

The Tubi side mufflers in addition make it considerably louder on the outside but there's no resonance inside....

Sharkwerks center muffler by pass is more like a straight by pass, and fabspeeds center muffler by pass is more like an X-PIPE by pass... is that why sharkerks is more high pitch, and fabspeed is more deep?

Check out the Fabspeed setup, we have a primary muffler bypass pipe which will increase the sound a little more and make a bit deeper and throatier. We also have our 2ndary Muffler bypass pipes which if used with the stock primary muffler, actually sounds really sporty and aggressive. It will give you a more high pitch note but still sound pretty deep. Bypassing everything will be too loud. but here are some clips of what it all sounds like.
PM or email me if you have any questions.
Thanks,
