Finally did it.

I have learned so much from this group over the last year+. About the deal, about the car, understanding the options... Thanks!

Originally thought I’d order a custom build but just couldn’t do it over the last year. With the cash incentives put in place at the end of August, seemed like the time to buy-- with over 18% off MSRP. Although I would have added a few options on a built car they were really just icing--- so I’m very happy! My first Porsche after decades of thinking about it.

C4S Cabriolet
9Q Meteor Grey Metallic
AT Full Leather
672 Navigation Module For PCM
P15 Power Seat Package
680 Bose High End Sound Package
640 Sport Chrono Package Plus
XRR 19" Carrera Sport Wheel
541 Seat Ventilation
XCZ Sport Shifter
686 XM Radio
XME Rear Center Console Painted In Exterior Color
619 Bluetooth Interface For Mobile Phone
603 Dynamic Cornering Lights
431 Three-Spoke Multi-Function Leather Steering Wheel
635 Parking Assist System
342 Heated Front Seats
870 Universal Audio Interface
267 Self-Dimming Mirrors
XSC Porsche Crest In Headrests
446 Wheel Caps w/Colored Crest
810 Floor Mats In Interior Color

Had the dealer install the Short Shift Kit and swap wheels and tires from other cars to get the XRR with PS2’s

Blue taped up the whole front of the car at the dealer and drove straight to Detailing Dynamics on Long Island for Matt and Eddie to put on a full set of film. They did a great job.

Finally brought it home for last weekend and got to put a couple miles on her.

That's a model. The pics don't look real to me. Did you change the depth of field or something?

Beautiful car . The widebody in meteor looks amazing . I saw one the other day in the sun and it looked incredible. The options look great too . Sport shift is good addition . I have a question on the wheels . Your post says " carerra sport" and i see sport design wheels on the photo.

Awesome looking car! Mine is substantially identical, except it's an S, not a 4. I just received a pre-owned set of Sport wheels that I bought from Wheels Boutique which are identical to yours, but for a NB car. I am doing a thorough cleaning in advance of doing an application of Wheel Wax, then I can't wait to put them on the car. They look so much better than the Lobster Forks. Anyway, sorry for the long-winded congrats on the car. It's beautiful!

Yes, wide aperture short telephoto, so minimal depth of focus.

Asked the salesman about clear markers and he had a set at his desk. Went right in.

Same thing I thought at first - looked like a toy! Must be telephoto lens - cool effect and not often seen on car shots, but I was thinking about doing some shots like that of my car a few days ago just to reduce the exaggerated "perspective" that wide shots tend to give.

Very nice car - man, you guys getting 18% - arghhh! Amazing.

You are correct on the wheel name. My error .
I confused the name "carerra sport" with "carerra S II" with "sport design"
Mental block on my part .

Either way the car looks amazing.
