Hi everyone , I have been lurking in this forum for a while and i must say this is the best forum out there . I thank everyone for all the inputs and infos , it did help me alot before i made my final decision whether to buy Z06 or C2S. I have tried very hard to find my first 911 " never owned one " and my dream came reality when i found 2005 c2s . I've been BMW and Audi guy , but this is a totally diffrent thrill all together. Recently i own 2007 M5 a great 4door sedan by the way. but the c2s thrill blows me away. Anyhow i bought this baby from a forum member "ATL_Porsche" what a nice guy . Thank u ATL for all the help . I took couple of pictures in HDR and the jpeg u can find this tread https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...y-6-speed.html
Thank u all.
Thank u all.

thank you everyone , i feel so great . It puts a big smile on my face when i drive it, just can not imagine how 997tt will feel like. I do have one question , is the clutch sort of stiff "hard" compared to BMW and Honda , is that normal? or should i have the dealer check it out . The ppi came out perfect and the dealer said that 20k was performed on the car and it has 22700 miles . any input from u guys will help me alot , Thanks again.
Great car. I saw it listed in the for sale section and glad ti see it again here .
The clutch is normal . In fact I happen to like the point of engagement a lot on the 997.1S . In fact on my 997 Turbo I disliked the power assist so much that it almost was a dealbreaker when I bought the car . One year after owning the car I had the power assist removed and had a GT2 clutch conversion . In short my Turbo clutch is about three times harder to press than your 997S and I love it .
The M3 clutch is easier to press but it will not engage the same way as yoir 9997S . In fact the geabox on the M3 is awful . It's even worse than the Honda .
The Honda makes a great gearbox given the price . There's not much weight or Hp (4 cyl) to tug along so an easy press clutch works and makes fora fun little car . But it's no 997S nor will its gearbox and clutch hold a candle to the Porsche.
