one good news and one bad news
one good news and one bad news
Hi guys,
the good news is I'm going to get a 997.2GT3RS, delivery next April.
the bad news is the club coupe will have to go...couldn't justify keeping three Porsches.
A big thank you to my wife for not saying no at all. All she said is the wing on the RS is too big, people is going to scratch your car anywhere you parked.
Special thank to Larry for inspiring us to keep upgrading our Porsches, and to Ed for inspiring me with track drivings.
I know I'll be well equipped for the next track season with just a bone stock RS.

Wonder when us US folks get to order?

Anyhow, congrats! Woo-hoo!
Yea, January build, taking my time with the configurator now.
Will take my time to learn how to drive it. Probably need a few times at Mission. If I can keep up with you, then PR is next.
Are you shopping for a 7GT3 yet?
I don't know, I am going back and forth on it, the last two days I did at ORP, I was vert fast. Makes me wonder how much I need to spend to go faster! A few seconds may cost me some big $$. However you have just raised the bar!

Thanks Guys. Yes, it will be a waste if the car doesn't see the track.
Ed, the skills that you have and the amount of time that you spent on tracks, you know you will eventually need a GT3. So why wait any longer?

I actually started tracking earlier than Ed. I was just promoted to intermediate level when he started in the beginner group. He was tracking an SUV Audi All-road and he passed a few 911s...
After just 3 years, he is keeping up with guys in the advanced group driving .1GT3RS. His skills and improvement really is amazing.
I'll be so embarrassed next year if he can pass me with his C2S.

You're too kind Tim, my first day was in my Silver 997, the second was in the Allroad shortly after the Silver car was rear ended by the Garbage Truck. In all fairness I have done 26 track days in my Seal 997C2S, I am sure that is more then most people have done.
