Last I checked they did not have this listed for sale on their website but I would give them a call and see if they have any in stock. Also I have seen a few listed for sale on eBay at decent prices.

Just ordered the Fabspeed cold air kit for my 996... Apparently the 996 version removes the resonator box and has an screw-in cap that fills the hole. I liked this better vs the schnell that has a cap that can blow off. Their 997 version has a silicone cap that uses existing hose clamp since the box is glued in on the 997...I'm only hoping to get a slightly better induction sound and throttle response. Good thread!

Add the BMC filter along with the cold air kit.Far better sound.

I was considering the BMC filter, but I have a brand new factory one that I want to use up. I was also a little hesitant since I've read that oiled filters can potentially damage the MAF sensor. Speaking of the sensor, I was reading my new book "Porsche 996 - the essential companion" (great read by the way), that most complete air box mods don't do much: "over 90% of these engines are fitted with electronically controlled throttle valves, and the DME (ECE) decides how much air is going to be let into the engine, not the driver., even if a higher flow air filter is installed in the standard air cleaner assembly, it might help make a better induction noise, but that's about it"., With that said, the CAI made sense for what I wanted to achieve. I'll probably try the BCM next to improve the sound a bit more, and have a lifetime filter! They seem like very good quality.
