Ricky and I have been trying to figure this out for the past 2 weeks. I beleive mexico blue is the same color as the lettering and the wheels of the 1973 Carrera Rs. And the 993 in the picture is riviera blue.

You are not going to be able to distinguish Riviera from Mexico on a PC display. They are too close. I would suggest doing a google search for the dates and codes of the old colors. There have been new Porsches ordered in Mexico and Riviera as color-to-sample lately.

An east coast dealer had a 997 done in Mexico Blue not long ago. There were many threads on the car, as it landed on eBay and was apparently door-damaged. They had a hard time with the paint/repair, but it was probably that color shown in the first post.
