I have always gone with the wheel/tire coverage. On my last C4S took a nail causing a very small leak and the tire was just about new. That one incident was about 1/2 the cost covered already........... you hit a pothole, heading thru a constuction site and a stell plate....etc, it will then pay for itself 5x over.

COngrats!!

COngrats on your new purchase!! I loved the feeling of that first drive, bringing my new (to me) '05 997s home back in March from New York...gave me a real sense of pride and adrenaline, hearing that 3.8 roaring behind my head. Good luck with it, and forget about that protection plan, i agree that they're quick to take your money but slow in telling you to F yourself when something goes wrong.

Enjoy!

Quick question. Is it worth it to purchase the basic protection plan? It covers: -dent and ding repair
-windshield repair
-tire and rim coverage (even
repairing curb rash)
-roadside assistance
It will also cover replacing a bent wheel even if the tire is OK. $1,240+tax..total $1,340 What do you guys think?
