I don't need to do this, but I had a 964 '90 and I read Adrian Streather's bible about this car

I remember he recommended making the wheel alignment with a full tank of gas

And if you are more **** () then do the alignment with you sitting inside the car (if most of the time the car is driven only with you inside it)

Your thoughts ?

i always thought it was half tank.. so full its only half off and empty its half off..

 

We perform the allignment full tank but only ballast the drivers side if performing a corner ballance.

 

Pro shop where I got my alignment done dropped 190 lbs worth of weights on driver seat prior to alignment. And, yes, full tank.

if you are not going to corner balance first don't worry about driver weight...anywhere between a half and full tank will be fine

 

Corner balance applies only to coilovers, right ?

For cars with normal shocks/springs suspension setup just somewhere between half and full tank of gas and ready to go, correct ?

 

yeah, corner balance is for adjustable at all corners...sorry...you will be fine
