Fall in the White Mountains

Just back from a nice little jaunt around the presidential mountains - those New Hampshire roads are just fantastic - long sweeping curves and hills...

Not many pictures of the roads since I was too busy having fun but a few of the car enjoying the view ;-) The top was down most of the time, honest - just never when I had my camera in my hand!

BTW: I am another of those folks here that has been lusting after and planning how to get a 911 for the past 30years or so -- finally made it this year and now I have a permanent grin plastered on my face...

Great color combo. It is so refreshing to see colors other than silver and black.

Nice seeing a P-car owner using his car properly. I like your 4h shot with the car behind the fence - nice shot!

Nice shots. Looks beautiful. Wish we'd get a break in the rain here for a nice day on the Blue Ridge, but so far, no go.

If by "properly" you mean driving it when there is snow on the ground then you betcha! Snow tires and rubber mats are on the way and a nice warm jacket plus silly hat plus seat warmers mean I'll have the top down every day the sun is out and the temp is >32... there's nothing quite like driving through snow with the top open

I work with a guy who has an S2000 and we have a running competition to see who can drive with the top down most often... we were pretty even when I had the Boxster but now that I can put mine up and down whilst driving, I think I _might_ have the edge on him!

Wow ,they take me back from to my hiking days 20+ years ago up to Lake of the Clouds, Mt. Washington and Tuckermans Ravine - what a beautiful area!

I would have never guessed those 20+ years ago that I would own a such a great car like my 4-day old 996TT. What an awesome machine.

Thanks for the great photo's - and memory flashbacks. Now I can relate on two different levels. Only wish I had the car back there now to enjoy those roads.
