Right - we wouldn't want that. I never had either of those issues with mine.

And that story Shawn, is exactly why I'd love to have a spare. I have a tire plug kit - I'd like to think that would go faster than 3 hours, but have never had to use it. But that story was a bummer to hear and exactly the kind of thing (or worse) that concerns me.

 

I agree completely Steve. My experience was extremely inconvenient (to say the least) and I would be very hesitant to buy another daily driver that does not come with a spare.


Fahrer - there are decent instructions but they are spread out between the sealant, owners manual, and compressor.

 

My C2'S' already rides a bit harsh for a daily driver. Can't even imagine with run-flats

Quick suggestion, for little money Griot garage has a tire plug kit for cheap. Got one to keep in car. Just need to also carry a small portable jack. Can also be had cheap and are quite compact.
