That is FAST! I think after the cat install I should be able to do 224
10000 miles is great Jim, I have only done just over 5000 miles in the last two years.....on the track. You know that Porsche insists that you drive a minimum number of miles per year or your warranty will be void! The good news is that you would be one barrier less towards your SC kit. Now if you can only figure out the wife's ATM code, you could get to her money

Between the 2 of u....i dont know. Which one of u is the most brutal .....Trackman(U) or OCD Boy(Stacy) LOL

[QUOTE=jjc4scab;2598111]about 120 on open road by myself. Not often. @ the Glenn , totally different animal! This car is a fun street car for me. Its a cab. Not meant for the track. I prefer a lesser value car at the track , so I will drive to my ability. I have a hard time justifying the porsche at 120 in a right hand sweeper with Armco all over the sides(guardrails) my check book is to small and shallow. I have driven all types of cars at the track and the ones I enjoy are the underpowered ones in the straights and the faster in the turns. I used to run a honda crx si, and nothing gives u more pleasure then chasing down a Porsche,Ferrari, Corvette,Viper, or whatever big horse car, because the driver doesnt know how to drive at 9/10's. That my friend is a RUSH. Coming ito a hard right hander at 50 and exiting at 80. That is what these cars are made for. U should join some schools and try itif you havent. They will hook u huge! I get to nervous about FAST on a open public road. Not afraid of me, but definetly afraid of everyone else. My mods r just starting so not to much into her ...yet!
check some of this footage out, of me and my guys on this run we did on sunday of last week..... the turns were crazy....

997 car has a lot of power, I was going very early in the morning one day cruising on 6th gear and without looking at speedometer just floored gas so when I finally looked down at numbers I was at 154. Highway was empty, but it took almost no time to get from 82 to 155 and it was very impressive, I did not expect to get that fast at all and it had plenty left there to get even faster. That feel of constant acceleration at such speed is simply amazing.

It`s true about power - most common problem for me is overshooting in most turns - car gains too much momentum too fast to be controllable after that.
