Fuel Injector Recall?
I just got a call from my service advisor to replace the fuel injectors (recall) on my 2009 997.2 Carrera S. I don't have any other details and set the appointment up for Monday, but just a heads-up for those with 997.2 cars. I just got mine, so maybe this is something old that's being taken care of now that my 2009 is in service?

Wonder if this is in regards to the tailpipe sooting some have and some don't...

There is but it is very limited. Per my service manager only 40 997 coupes in the US, mostly Boxsters and Caymans. My car is not involved (March 2009 build)

Likewise, in dealership today, my car is not on the list!!
I shall continue to spread soot and burn oil.

Recall must be earlier.
