'05 997S: Caring, Loving, Perfection has become a burdon
On my previous car, I used to freak out about door dings. I had a few of them in the oddest places that I suffered with for a couple of years. Then I found this awesome local guy that removed them flawlessly in 15 minutes...lesson learned was if the paint isn't chipped it can be easily fixed (with the right professional). And now some of the minor paint scratches can be professionally touched up so that you'll never really notice it. The other lesson I learned was that $#!t happens and the car is meant to be enjoyed. I'm trying to apply that principle to the p-car...

Fortunately, I haven't had any paint touch-up work done to really elaborate just ding repair. I know there are do-it-yourself touch up kits that are quite advanced (read about on this forum) but I personally would leave it to the professionals. I've been told they can fix and buff out minor scratches with ease. A reputable body shop would be my answer. Did find this old post and found it interesting:
