997.2 - Which Exterior Color?

I'm having a hard time deciding on an exterior color. The ones in the poll are what I'm interested in and I'd like your opinion on which color to go for.

Basalt Black always looks good on an 911. Carrera White a classic. The new Dark Blue is interesting, looks darker than the previous midnight blue with a deeper finish (which I like). Can't go wrong with Meteor Grey, keeps the car "clean". Then there's GT Silver...

Appreciate any opinions and comments.

Dark Blue?

I have Atlas Grey Metallic and depending on the light it looks either Dark Grey, Black or dark Blue. 3 colors for the price of one

Sounds interesting, do you have any pics?

Unfortunately it is also 3 times the price compared to normal metallic paint (for Australia).

I'm leaning towards Dark Blue at this stage but I have never seen one in person and the dealer does not yet have any Porsches in that color.

Basalt Black with the gold fleck is a beautiful color and it is not as difficult to keep clean as black. But, it is still black. My vote is for GT Silver. My 1st Pcar was an Arctic Silver Boxster but I like the GT better.

You have to choose your own color - way too personal. P-Cars look great in almost any color.

Yes color is very personal choice. They say that color is a representation of a person's attitude and how he or she views themselves. Now don't ask me to give an analysis of each color and reflection of each. I own a black 1.

That means you have a high level of patience and commitment - along with a touch of insanity.

I've never seen Cobalt Blue in person. There are a couple of photo's floating around and the car looks fantastic. MHO of course.
