Question: Are ALL 997 "S" cars wide bodies???

Those need not apply. I am referring to narrow twisty canyon roads with narrow bridges and stuff. I am told by people who routinely carve those with both chassis that the wide bodies are tougher to thread through.

funny, C2 is a "narrow body" with 295 x 35 tires, I guess it actually IS in comparison though......................

997.2 C2 has 265 rear tires.

Does anyone know the width of a 997 narrow body compared to a 996 widebody? It seems that the narrow body 997 is definitely waayy wider than a 996 narrow, is it the same as the 996 widebody?

Width of 996 GT2: 1830 mm,

Width of 997.2 S: 1808 mm,

Width of 997.2 4S: 1852 mm.

That makes total sense since the all wheel drive platform for the turbo is a wide body and all wheel drive. It's tough for any car company to make any money off of building only one platform, so to do so they must build more than one car built on the same platform.
