I have a low mileage 08 turbo with black leather sport adaptive seats with every imaginable option including air bags & painted backs that I would like to trade out or find a pair of standard comfort seats. Problem is the 08's were the first year with air bags in the seats so my options are limited to 08 or newer. My contact number if any one can help is 949-378-1590

I thought every 997 has airbags in the seats (on the side,,,unless there were additional ones that i don't know about)

I just bought a set of adaptive sport seats out of a 08 turbo and didn't have any issues, they seemed to have the same airbag as my full power seats and the swap was pretty straighforward.

if you're looking for a set of power seats pm me, but personally i would sell your adaptive sport seats, you should be able to fetch a pretty penny from a guy like me who spent 4 months looking for a set

I have an 06 with electric sport adaptives painted backs and airbags in the seats.

Every model after 2006 had side airbags in the seats....

Thanks for the help but now I'm really confused & need to be sure about this. I was repeatedly told that 08's were the first year of air bags in the seats. Based on that I have assumed that this was the case. I need to check into this further. Can someone verify how many different design seats were offered .My understanding is two. A standard comfort seat & the optional sport adaptive ones. My 03 996 turbo came with standard heated power seats with memory option & they worked great. I need to find the 997 equivalent to these & I will be happy. My 08 has only 8 k miles on it & the seats are like new. I need to find a like set.
