Reusing exhaust gaskets

I know it is a no brainer buy new gaskets, however... I do not have anyone locally that carries them and I would have to overnight them to have them in time for this weekend to install a set of used AWE headers.

Anyway in the past I have reused steel 'shim' gaskets similar to those on the header to head, and header to cat. Does anyone one have any experience (good or bad) reusing these gaskets?

Although we always use new gaskets, the metal gasket could be used again if there are no signs of carbon contrails between the exhaust port holes and the outter edge of the gasket. You should be fine reusing the old ones though if you can wait for new units it would certainly be better.
