***Interior Picture Thread*** Post Pics of your 997 interior!
and from cocoa to natural brown
and i LOVE it with slate grey(i think) and oem aluminum...can't help fondling the ****...well, its mine...so, cheers, sorry, the cell phone pics suck, i know, hey has anyone noticed the difference in some cocoas, have seen a few from newer, 2009, i think, very dark compared to mine, and of course the pics here are lighter than the real thing,
done turning my plain sand beige interior into something else...
Fun projects, and I feel like I can take the interior apart now and put it back together. Whether it's worth the $$ may be another discussion altogether.
Wow - Some beautiful interiors in this thread - the TechArt one is amazing.
Here are a couple of mine - I'm a bit of a carbon freak
. 997 has Full Leather with Carbon Center Tunnel, MF Steering wheel, Door Spears, Dash Trim, Gearshift, E-brake, Door Trim, Inner & Outer Door Sills, Glovebox handle, Headlight & Ignition Surrounds, and some carbon-look vinyl on the back of the sport seats to keep the kids from scratching the paint with their shoes, along with Fabspeed Carbon Intake in engine bay with a customised heat shield to work with the RUF Supercharger. 914 has just a carbon gearshift ****, but the buttons on top control the aftermarket Kenwood Chameleon stereo with 75Wx4 amp feeding 4 6.5" Sony speakers.

Is your RUF supercharger made by ASA?

would love more data on your car, did you have it done in texas or the new RUF dealer in MI? I looked into the SC for the 997 but I believe was near 25K? Any more pics of that 997? looks like ruf front end? Thanks

Thanks guys.
Yes, I'm the 3rd owner and it was the 1st that had the RUF R-Kompressor Kit and Front bumper which has the ASA Centrifugal Supercharger as a part of it, but it's a very well integrated kit that's much more than just a bolt-on supercharger (see attached PDF - all the colored parts are part of the RUF kit). It was done at RAC in Dallas when the car had 7,000 miles.
I've had it for about a year and did the Sport + Seats, some of the carbon trim, the Fabspeed Intake, Damptronics Suspension, Fabspeed Valvetronic Exhaust with custom tips to come through the RUF RGT style Bumper (which I also did), Champion RS171 wheels (no photos of them yet, but they saved me 9 lbs / corner vs the chromed RUF ones), Gateway BT, there's a lot more info and the history in this RUF Club of America thread -

and here are some additional photos.

I had an ASA blower on my E46 M3 and was only one of just a few in the US with a FMIC. Unlike other superchargers (i.e., VF-E variety) they make excellent low to mid range power. On low boost (6 psi) I made 428 RWHP and 320 WTQ. I read up quite a bit on them before and knew RUF used them.
Sorry for the threadjack.

How much?
Where did you get it done?
Etc, etc
Thanks
