Custom Install - 9500CI

I recently had an Escort 9500CI custom installed in my car.

- Display was installed installed the rearview mirror. Sorry the pictures is a fuzzy.

- Control was installed flush in the center stack. The buttons are a great match to the Porsche buttons. During the day, it looks almost factory OEM. But at night the buttons glow blue.

- Speaker was installed flush below the radio and fires down into the storage cubby in the center stack. It does not intrude into the storage area at all. No way to take a picture of this.

- A power switch installed flush in the storage cubby in the center stack.

A local shop in Atlanta by the name of CarTunes

It is an Autodimming mirror. The reflective surface is inside the mirror so they disassembled it, scratched off a rectangle of the reflective coating, mounted the display to the rectangle inside the mirror housing, and then reassembled the mirror. My F150 has a compass display inside the rear view mirror and that is the same cncept.

I'm REALLY happy with both the detector and the install. During the day or when turned off, it looks factory and is pretty much undetectible. At night the blue light buttons don't match, but it makes it easy to find buttons when needed.
